Indie Music Rights Ltd. today announced the acquisition of C+C Records/ Frode Records, a prominent Norwegian independent record label with a rich history dating back decades. The acquisition, effective January 1, 2025, marks an exciting expansion of Indie Music Rights’ presence in the Nordic music market and brings a diverse catalog of iconic Norwegian artists into its portfolio. C+C Records / Frode Records, founded by Christer Falck and Frode Lia, has been a cornerstone of the Norwegian music scene, nurturing and promoting a wide range of talent across various genres. The label’s legacy includes a deep catalog featuring influential artists who have shaped the country’s musical landscape.

The acquisition brings a diverse roster of artists to Indie Music Rights, including Lene Alexandra: A Norwegian pop artist known for her chart-topping hits and dynamic stage presence, Karen Jo Fields: A critically acclaimed singer-songwriter renowned for her soulful voice and introspective lyrics, and Kjøtt: A legendary 1970s punk band that played a pivotal role in the development of the Norwegian punk scene.
